Tutorial
Viewing a Document
There are several ways in which you can view a document that has been served via CaseHomePage.
Opening a document from your Browser
- Click on “Log In,” or go to “User’s Area” at the top of the page and select “View Case Files.” You can also click on the “View Case Files” briefcase icon at the bottom of the page.
- Log In with your Username and Password.
- Click on the link to enter the case you wish to view.
- Click on the link to the category folder for the document. If you do not know what category, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the “Uploads by Date” folder to view documents by month and year, or use the Search Feature
Note: Folders on the website may contain sub-folders. Anything on the website with a folder symbol next to it designates a folder or subfolder and anything on the website with an Acrobat ® symbol next to it designates a document. Clicking on the actual words in the title of the folder or document will open it.
Opening a document from your Email
When a document is posted on the site, and email is immediately generated to all parties in the automatic email notification system. These emails are sent by the “Site Administrator” and reference the case name in the subject line.
To open the document:
- Open the email and click on the title of the document referenced in the body of the email. The link will take you to your browser, and the document will open up for viewing in Adobe Acrobat®.
- You may also click on the "Appears In."
- If you have not logged in yet, you will be prompted to do so before the document opens. Clicking the “Retain Log in for Future” box will make it so that you don’t have to log in every time. Once the document is open, you can print or save it to your computer.
Another way to open the documents from your email is to click on the “Appears In” portion of the email. This link is below the document link in the body of the email. This link will be take you into the folder in which the document is located. From there you will be able to select the document you wish to view.

In the example above, the link to the document is underlined in green, and the “Appears In” designation is highlighted.
Note: Some documents can be quite large and may take a long time to load. Clicking “Print” before the document is fully loaded may result in blank or incomplete pages. If the document is taking a long time to load, or is printing incomplete pages, click on the link under the “Appears In” portion of the email (example above). Then, “Right-Click” on the document you wish to view and select “Save Target As.” Save the document to your desktop or any folder you choose. Once the file has finished downloading, open and print the document from the new location.
